"Story of an Hour" by Kate Chopin

In this story, I found some scenes that catched my attention by showing irony. In the "Story of an Hour"by Kate Chopin, a good example of irony would be when Brently Mallard was supposed to be dead, but it was a misunderstanding. Her wife was devastated with the fact that she was going to be lonely, futhermore she was waiting to die as well. At the end he appears to be alive and the one who ended up dying by a heart attack was her. To conclude,I think irony can be describe as believing something that really means another thing.
