Digging
In this story the author uses descriptive language to exaplain what his parents do for living. In the story "Digging" by Heany, the author use rude words such as gun and pen. Eventhough he admires his family, he didn't want to follow the tradition that they were doing for generations. In addition he is not good at digging, instead he prefer to become a writer. The connotation in this poem was that the same persistence that the author's father puts into digging is the same as the author when he writes. Finally, it was an interesting poem, but really difficult to understand.
